In UNPACKING CAMBRIDGE for PBS, Warner Hanson’s team peeled back the truths of a town whose story has long laid buried, resulting in an impactful Emmy-nominated documentary that changed the culture and spirit of the town at the center of the story. It is a story that could be told in many towns in America who are reconciling with their past while forging a future for the next generation. 


CHASING THE CHESAPEAKE follows Team Washington DC as they race their 40 foot yacht around the world in one of the world’s most unique yachting races. We experience their energy and witness the extraordinary wildlife, take on their tiny quarters and engage as they race to the finish line at their home port.


Filmed during the height of the pandemic with closed borders and a world on edge, SAFE PASSAGE was produced under extreme conditions in an extremely remote location in British Columbia, Canada. With the blessing of First Nation’s tribes, the 2-person production crew was able to capture this important story, ultimately helping to push forth the extreme work of saving the threatened salmon. It was the jury winner at several international film festivals. 


Embroiled in history and tradition, the Maryland crab industry finds themselves at a crossroads. Facing climate change, regulations, visa issues and environmental pressures, the industry’s future hangs in the balance. MARYLAND CRABS: TRADITION & TASTE explore the deeply personal and complex stories surrounding Maryland’s most iconic endeavor. Warner Hanson’s approach earned them an Emmy award and the recognition of top leaders and community members. 


The world’s greatest lacrosse player takes us back to his homeland to offer an extremely personal story of the games origins and its deeply rooted native traditions. The final installment to Warner Hanson’s highly touted award-winning national PBS series CHEFS A’ FIELD takes our chefs out to get on board to discover truly sustainable seafood. We meet the people and get our hands in on the action on the water before taking the days catch into the kitchen where our top chefs create delicious dishes with the sea’s bounty. The six part series GOOD CATCH received multiple awards and praise from viewers worldwide.
