The award-winning, critically acclaimed series CHEFS A' FIELD is a visual feast of culinary adventures that transports viewers to the source of great local food. In it's lauded 4 seasons, it showcased the nation's best chefs and the farmers they rely on.
The bounty of the land is explored first-hand as we dig in the dirt with small family farmers and then head into the kitchen of famed restaurants, for a behind-the-scenes cooking lesson, each episode offers a unique perspective and meaning to the ideas of LOCAL & SUSTAINABLE. In each episode we experience the passion of our farmers and the dedication of each chef firsthand. Each episode is a visual feast for the eyes and a culinary adventure unlike any other.
In its four highly successful seasons on PBS, CHEFS A' FIELD has transported viewers to locations including the Evergreen forests of the Cascades, the lush fruit orchards of Pennsylvania, the Chesapeake Bay's tidewaters, Mexico’s Yucatán jungle, the volcanic beaches of Hawaii, the moss covered highlands of Iceland, the spectacular Yukon River Delta in Alaska, and all points in-between.
